A date with the moon
Happy mid autumn festival, people!
While I was hunting for mooncake and latterns justnow, the chinese market's full with people! I can smell the festive season. It feels so much like home, where people are rushing and doing last minute shopping for our chinese traditional lattern festival.
So I am going to eat the double egg yolk mooncake and play with the latterns tonight! I can't wait! ^____^
By the way, I really misse those mini flaky mooncakes mum always buy for us when we were younger. *yummmm*

Movies/dvds I watched lately .
1. Monster-in-law: The love life of Charlotte is reduced to an endless string of disastrous blind dates, until she meets the perfect man, Kevin. Unfortunately, his merciless mother will do anything to destroy their relationship. I had such an enjoyable time watching the movie. Nothing serious but romance.
2. Music and lyric: A washed up singer is given a couple days to compose a chart-topping hit for an aspiring teen sensation. Though he's never written a decent lyric in his life, he sparks with an offbeat younger woman with a flair for words. What a sweet movie! Loved the music too!
3. You, me and Dupree: Best man (Wilson) stays on as a houseguest with the newlyweds, much to the couple's annoyance. I honestly liked it. It was very very cute! :)
4. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I didn't enjoy much at all. To me, it's just another commercialize movie. Although the special effect was good, but it wasn't good enough to push the movie uphill. Seriously, it was nothing near my expectations.

The 6th day of the week.
Things I've done on Saturday.
1. Woke up early and accompanied D to return a hired wet vacuum cleaner for some work-related job.
2. Had an appointment with Dr. Lee later on. And this is the second time she has bulked bill me! Which means the visit is free of charge. *Yippie*
3. Had lunch at Hanaichi (Our all time favourite)
4. Had my eye check done as well. Because I found out that I had problems reading things lately. And turned out it's true! My eye prescription has increased! >___< I am so sad. Should I do laser vision?
5. Went to pick up my pre-ordered fish bowl. :D
#1. And then I got a rash from maomao-the guinea pig. She accidentally scratched me when I brought her out for a walk >___<
#2 Also I had my last dose of cervical cancer vaccination. It stings, stings and stings!
#3. Just before I went to bed at 2.00am after watching the Material girls by Hillary Duff. Yawn.

Friday Friday Friday!
Yes! It's friday! I *heart* Fridays! hehe
I know I haven't been updating my site to the server, so all you can see are still August's journals. I have not been lazy, I did blog once every two days but I just couldn't find time to finish blogging each of them and ended up leaving it all incomplete till the next day.
But anyway, it's Friday and everyone should be happy because it's time to relax! :D
The boss told everyone we should all get off from work at 5pm sharp today. Because we don't normally leave at 5pm everyday. And I guess he was just too tired and wanted to leave earlier today. So he was counting down the time when it was 20 minutes to 5, then again at 10 minutes to 5pm.
How can you not love boss like this when he's chasing everyone out from the office at 5pm sharp! :D
Hm..Mr. James, despite of what I've written, you know I am still a diligent employee, don't you? :P

When ying was here. lalala~ The first picture is my favourite favourite picture of the day! (with D at the back) haha.*chuckling* Looking at these pictures really brighten up my Thursday blue day. People get Monday blue, but I found it so hard to focus at work today. Battling hard to chase the blues away.
I guess I need to sleep earlier, and more longer hours, and ignore the uncomfortable feeling to sleep with a full stomach. Plus, ignore the fat that will grow onto my stomach after sleeping with a full stomach plus no exercise. >___<
I wanna take my food intake each day and show you all what a glutton I am. (If I have time)

Rainy days in Spring.
Finally, spring is officially here. :) Warmer weather has finally arrived. No more shivering in cold.

But it has been a wet week since the beginning of spring. Raining almost everyday. I hope there will be plenty of sunshine during this weekend.

Hotel Rwanda
Had an early dinner tonight. Was extremely grateful when I realise it's only 8pm after finished dinner while watching "Hotel Rwanda", which means I could be in bed early tonight. Yeah!
Alright, back to the film, Hotel Rwanda, is a historical drama film about the hotelier Paul Rusesabagina during the Rwandan Genocide* Ten years before the film was released, something terrible took place in the small country of Rwanda, and with all the high-speed communication, this event was almost covered, and unnoticed by the rest of the world.
Almost a million people were killed! And Paul, the hero with greatest courages tried his very best to save lives of his family and more than a thousand other refugees by allowing them to stay in Hotel Mille Collines.
He now lives in Belgium with his wife, children and two adopted nieces whose parents were never found.
A truly hero indeed!
