new toy! :))

Did I tell you people I have a new camera? In fact, two! Not trying to show off here, but how coincidence it is!

3 days after I arrived in Australia, I went to pick my baby up from the airport, he was away to China on business trip again, and as we were both really busy abroad, we did not talk much on the phone with each other and so, I did not have a chance to tell him that my mum gave me her camera because my precious and loved camera (Olympus, it is) is not functioning very well and in fact, it underperformed a little. :(

So, on our way to home, we went to take away lunch. As usual, I, for all time bring camera with me. So I took it out (It is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50) and he was shocked! He went like “where did you get this camera? Did you buy it? But you told me you didn’t have time to shop at all while you were in Malaysia. So what is this camera?” And I replied with a big smile on my face “Yeah! Mum gave me hers, I didn’t buy it!”

And then I saw the look on his face.

I said “Don’t tell me you bought me a camera! You did, didn’t you?”

Yes! He got me a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX 520 from Hong Kong airport!

Same brand, similar functions but this is the latest!

*haha*

Thank you, baby. I love it to bits!

A delightful Day Trip to Redcliffe and Morgan's Seafood Market 1

A getaway to Redcliffe to enjoy the sun and seafood on ANZAC Day. It was a public holiday in Australia, I suggested to go Redcliffe for a short day outing since I've been longing for the "yummylicious" seafood at Morgan's.

So, what is an ANZAC Day?

Anzac Day is commemorated by Australi and New Zealand on 25 April every year to honour members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who fought during World War 1.

I remembered I travelled alone to Redcliffe when I first arrived in Brisbane to attend an interview at one of the art gallery shop. It was 3 years ago and I almost got lost in the area. Ha* What a memory!

Okay, here is a short introduction of the city.

Redcliffe is a 35 minute drive north of Brisbane city and perfectly positioned on Moreton Bay. It is a recreational paradise with 22 kilometres of golden sandy beaches, breathtaking ocean views, gentle rolling waves and delightful foreshore parklands.

It was indeed a wonderful day! :D
