Gable's annual progress report.

Previously, I've received Gable's annual progress report from Zambia. I can see that he is looking happier than before (with his recent photo attached). He even drew me some drawings! Oh well, he did not score too well for mathematics but the rest of the subjects are pretty well done.

:)

Now, I feel like I am a mum!

Pinnacle Desert

The Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park, Western Australia is very impressive and the Pinnacles area is something one might imagine Mars could be like. It is about 230 kilometres from Perth and thoursands of eerie limestone pillars, up to 4m tall form the Pinnacles Desert. Absolutely a photographer's paradise.

This is my second time visiting Pinnacle, however, the most unforgettable memory was we drove all the way down to this desert by our own. It was quite a challenge, along the way, you could see dead wallabies, super-huge-massive-giant trucks, and never ending straight trails which leads us to the desert.

Almost took us 4 hours from Perth to Pinnacle, and thank God, we managed to arrive safe and sound without any hassle. And I guess mum would be like in heaven, even the tripod was there to assist in snapping beautiful pictures of PInnacle. *Winks*

I love this song to bits!!! =D

Littlest Things by Lily Allen

Sometimes I find myself sittin' back and reminiscing
Especially when I have to watch other people kissin'
And I remember when you started callin' me your miss's
All the play fightin', all the flirtatious disses
I'd tell you sad stories about my childhood
I don't why I trusted you but I knew that I could
We'd spend the whole weekend lying in our own dirt
I was just so happy in your boxers and your t-shirt

[Chorus]
Dreams, Dreams
Of when we had just started things
Dreams of you and me
It seems, It seems
That I can't shake those memories
I wonder if you have the same dreams too.

The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but its so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That the things are reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if for only one weekend
So come on, Tell me
Is this the end?

Drinkin' tea in bed
Watching DVD's
When I discovered all your dirty grotty magazines
You take me out shopping and all we'd buy is trainers
As if we ever needed anything to entertain us
the first time that you introduced me to your friends
and you could tell I was nervous, so you held my hand
when I was feeling down, you made that face you do
no one in the world who could replace you

[Chorus]
Dreams, Dreams
Of when we had just started things
Dreams of me and you
It seems, It seems
That I can't shake those memories
I wonder if you feel the same way too

The littlest things that take me there
I know it sounds lame but its so true
I know its not right, but it seems unfair
That the things reminding me of you
Sometimes I wish we could just pretend
Even if for only one weekend
So come on, Tell me
Is this the end?

Anyone miss my blog?!

I am back. My life had been so hectic, until I had to neglect the fact that I have not finish blogging about my Perth's holiday! Anyway, exam period was nearly killed me. It was unbelivable crazy and busy!

Finally, it's over! Well, almost! ;D

Too tired to write, I shall let the pictures tell the story. =D

Bell Tower, Perth 27.05.2007

" The Bells- Perth's Tourist Landmark. The towering glass spire, located where Perth meets the Swan River, has now become a touchstone for Australian and international tourists. It is the Swam Bells Tower, one of the largest musical instruments on earth, housing the twelve bells of Saint Martin in the Fields church, the parish church of Buchingham Palace.

The Bell Tower offers tourists fascinating displays on the history of the bells and bell ringing, as well as stunning views of Perth city skyline and the Swan River."

Wuyi's house

A place I stayed for 4 years in Perth. Lots of memories!

Met up with two little boys once again! They've grown up so much and they talk like Aussie!!!

Miss the time I get to enjoy all nice food prepared by Wuyi. She's really a good cook and that was how I became such a big eater! Yes, started in Australia! Huge proportion everyday! I still remember mum was so shocked when we came back from Australia to Malaysia. *hahahaa*

Back to Brisbane

Really hated midnight flight. And domestic flight's super boring. No movie to watch. Nothing I can do except trying to get myself some sleeps. But I failed terribly.

For your information, my flight departed from Perth at 11.15pm (Perth time) and arrived in Brisbane 5.35am early in the morning. It took only 4 hours and 20 minutes which is a shorter route from Brisbane to Perth. I wonder why!

Anyway, I am back in Brisbane and I miss my family terribly! *sniff sniff* *They left Perth 2 days earlier than me*

But, right now,I have to set myself down from holiday mood as I have one big task to be accomplished, that is to study hard for my final!!!! *finger cross*

Sorry, dear friends, I couldn't find any spare time to meet up with you guys in Perth. I promise, next time, we sure will be able to meet!!! ok?

Perth is still as lovely as it used to be.

I miss Perth damn alot!!!

Bon Voyage, my dear family!!!

Time flies! One week has passed so fast and everything seemed so rush. It felt like I just touched down in Perth yesterday, me and Ying were waiting for their arrival from Malaysia in Perth international airport, but after one blink, we had to wave goodbye to them.

They took the morning flight today to Singapore.

Byebye papa, mama, meimei, sanyi (my auntie)

It was a fun + busy + tiring + meaningful + restless + joyful + nervous + memorable trip!

One week isn't enough, definitely.

And now I have a few things to do before flying back to Brisbane

- to sort out more than 1800+ pictures

- to clean and clear 4 big boxes of my stuff (something I left in Perth)

- to meet up with some of my friends in Perth (hopefully)

- to help Ying clean up John's place after 1 week of staying here.

Finally...

- STUDY STUDY AND STUDY!

p/s: Forgot to mention we met "Chen Shu Chen" (an elderly Singapore actor) in the airport. He was in the same flight with my family departing from Singapore. =D How coincidence!
