I can't believe January is coming to an end soon! OMG How time flies!
In less than 2 month's time, I'll be home. Yeah! Yeah ! Yeah!
Work has been good but really slow recently.
I haven't been watching "The Great Revival" (wo xin chang dan), oh, I nearly fall asleep, haha, but mum, I promise, I will watch it nicely and slowly as you said. *hehe*
Now, I am addicted to Heroes. It was my first attempt to start watching the series and I love it. Everything about it is a mystery. And it is such a thrill drama! Hiro Nakamura is very cute especially when he is in the middle of teleporting himself to the future, haha, I love the face expression!
And I love Sophie Kinsella. Her novels are amazingly amazing! I finished "Remember me" few days ago , her stand-alone novel. it's just too good to put down. I read it whenever I was in the car, on the way to work, during lunch break, etc etc. I absolutely adore her writing style, it's so funny, humour and fresh. It's a fun book to read! Love it love it love it. 5 stars!
And I am now reading a book recommended by mum, "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by the same author of Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini. Just started reading it two days ago, will tell you what I think when I finish the book. So far, to tell you the truth, it has already captured my heart and breath, and I am only on page 67.
Alrighty, it's time to get back to Heroes!

The year of Ox
Oh my god! Happy Chinese New Year people! It's the year of Ox or cow or mooo mooo!
I didn't realize Chinese New Year is just two days away until my buddy called me when I was at work today.
First thing he said "What are you doing buddy?" I said " I am at work lah"
He then said " Oh come on, everyone has gone home, prepare for Chinese New Year, and you still at work? "
How bad he is, right!
Oh....sad...makes me want to sit on a plane and fly back straight to Malaysia!
I miss celebration like this!
I miss our big big big gathering with friends and relatives!
I miss ang pow ang pow!
I miss going out shopping with mum and sisters!
I miss cleaning house with sisters!
I miss decorating the houses in red!
I miss the flowers mum used to buy! Don't know what they called in english, but they are very lovely!
I miss staying up late, watching countdown on TV, busy calling out and answering calls to wish people "Gong Xi Fa Chai", and listening to "Dong Dong Dong Qiang" on CD player, (dad always does this when the clock ticks 12am before first day of Chinese New Year)
I miss all the Chinese New Year foods! All the cookies, bak kua, home-made pineapple tart, candies and sweets, keropok (oh my oh, this is my favourite! ) and what else, oh ya, the "Gai-Jiu" popo and po tai always make, and we will have it at po tai's house every year, together with my other 928312324 cousins. You'll be amazed by how many relatives I have altogether. I've lost count! >_<
And I miss firecrackers! well, not exactly, because I am not a big fan of firecrackers, I just miss how these elements together can create the atmosphere of Chinese New Year, I remember once upon a time in Pekan Nanas, when the kids were playing firecrackers, my little sister freaked out in the middle of the night and cried, so mum and dad had to carry her all the way back to Batu Pahat, which is about 1 and half hour drive? haha
I miss playing card games with a bunch of crazy friends!!!!
I miss trying new year new clothes.
I miss the smell of the streets, filled with joys, and happiness!
ahhhh...

We stayed up really really late that night. Playing games, chit-chatting, having fun, eating cakes, drinking alcohols *Seriously, I still can't find anything favourable about alcohol, except Baileys- the irish cream flavoured liquor* It's so yum!
It's not surprised when we saw the rays of the rising sun when the clock hits 5 in the morning. *OMG*
Luckily we had enough spaces and rooms for friends to stay over. You know, everyone was pretty drunk. Always remember, don't drink and drive! *haha*

#14. After a rough 5 hours of sleep, I was wide awake because of hunger. >_< So does him. So while everyone was still sleeping their ass off, we were up, ready to grab some food. And hence, this is the picture of the birthday boy driving.

As usual, we had our casual, relaxed meal in Garden City Shopping Centre. We hang around a little, and then we headed home to get some more rest.

I was thinking to try to make a sexy pose with ying's technique. She has used this technique in one / or many of her very sexy and mouth watering wedding pictures which her photographer told her to open her mouth slightly, and to breath through her mouth not nose! Hence, the creation of sexiness effect aka the WOW effect!

Supposed to be grumpy.
Em....this is so hard to even get it started. I stare at my computer screen for 5 minutes and I have no clue at all where to start. I think I have been putting it on hold for quite awhile that I've almost forgotten what I was going to blog about. And I think it may be a good way to forget all grumpy feelings and thoughts I had, you know that kind of feeling when you get really really grumpy at something and you just wanna share it out to the world.
But now, it has all gone back to one healthy, peaceful mind. *hehe* ;)
Sometimes I was wondering, why do human beings make things so hard for themselves or people around them when they can just enjoy the life and live happily. My boss once said " We always have too many problems to deal with tomorrow, so why don't we just bloody enjoy today!" I think this is very well said. :)
I admire optimistic people. Seriously, I think if you are an optimist, you will attract people to your circle and cause and everyone will want to be closed with you. And doors of opportunities will be opened for you right in front of your eyes.
And so I decided I don't want to be emotionally bonded with their miserable thinking.

Last but not least, life is unpredictable, so enjoy the most of it! :)

OMG! This movie is hilarious! And Jim Carrey is awesome in this comedic project! He's so super duper funny and he never failed to entertain people. I doubled over laughing and I laughed so hard, really really hard in the cinema just now and even when I think of some of the most funniest scenes now, it still makes me laugh so hard! He's just absolutely almighty mighty!
"If you say no to your life, you are not living!" is one of my favourite quote from the movie.
Another quote I find it rather true from the movie is " The world's a playground. You know that when you are a kid, but somewhere along the way everyone forgets it." This is so true right! People tend to forget this as we get older which I find it pretty sad.
So when opportunity is knocking, there is no need to wait, go ahead and open the door!
This is very inspiring indeed! I really really loveeeeeeeeed this movie!

Surprise! Surprise!
This year, I decided to throw Mr. D a surprise birthday party.
It's so much fun to organize a surprise party, and planning it and keeping it a secret is the best. Especially it is for someone who is around you 24/7. It's the hardest okay, I had to wait for the "very moment" to make calls, to plan, etc etc.
But I think I made it work so well! *haha*
Maybe he's guessed. No, it was totally unexpected for him!
At first, I thought he might have guessed a little, because I am not very good at lying!!! First, he asked me out for movie the night before his birthday, I rejected and said no the the movie I wanted to watch so badly! And the reason I gave him was, "don't want lah, this movie seems very lame ler...I don't wanna watch it anymore." He then looked very confused....and might thought " girls are so hard to please" *hhaha*
Then I made him to bring me to Mt Cootha just to hang out a little longer before the surprise party started, *I was planning the perfert timing* . And that was the time when I tried to make final calls to make sure everyone will be outside our house waiting for the SPECIAL MOMENT.
When I think back, there were so many little things that might be clues for him. I remember "smelly fur" was talking to him during dinner the night before his birthday, and we were talking about having a party next week, because she missed out the party we held previously, and she said "sure! We will drink later tonight!" OMG! But she was fast enough to change it to "next week"! And he didn't even notice anything! *ahhaha*
It was all very fun and sweet and happy and joyful!
Thank you everyone for cooperating with me.
