Cirque Du Soleil.
I had an A-W-E-S-O-M-E awesome christmas.
Firstly, I want to give my baby one BIG HUG for giving me the surprise by bringing me to watch one of Cirque Du Soleil's show- Dralion on christmas eve. It was a surprise christmas present that he planned on bringing me to the show weeks ago. *muaks* you are so sweet. I love you! lalala~
Seriously, there is no way to describe my feelings after the show, it was simply FANTASTIC!
It was UNREAL and everything about it was so MAGICAL! I claim this to be the bestest circus I've ever seen. The stunts were perfect! The music and lighting were wonderful, the acrobatic was brilliant, the skills were unbelievable!
Trust me, you will want to see them over and over again.
Everything about Cirque Du Soleil is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!
Please go and watch if you have the chance, but too bad, I don't think they are touring in Malaysia.

random happy happy day. ^_^
We were at New South Wales last Monday to help Robert out, he's got friends coming over from Ireland to holiday in QLD for almost 5 weeks. *with envious eyes* And you know what, their holiday house in Australia is freaking luxury and gorgeous! They rented it from propery agents. You wanna know the cost of staying there for one week? It's freaking $3000 plus! AUD! for bloody one week only ! my godness! That's alot of money! But it's definitely a dream home for everyone. The contemporary house is so spacious with sea view, swimming pool, two big living rooms, plasma, bbq area, balcony, and the whole second floor of that house is proposed as master bedroom. only! *with envious eye again* It's so spacious, and large, and open!!!
tsk tsk tsk. These rich people ah....
But they seem pretty nice lah, at least this is my first impression of the young Irish couple and their 4 kids.
I managed to take a few shots of the houses around the neighbourhood. I didn't take any picture in the house though, due to some privacy issues.
We then left and headed for lunch. *hungry and tired after waking up so early*

Did some shopping in surfers paradise downtown. I once heard someone accidentally spelt surfers paradise to be "suffer" paradise. LOL that's pretty amusing to turn a paradise to hell right.
I had a few great bargains that evening in the Cult , this hoodie (hooded sweatshirt) was originally priced for AUD100 and I bought it for only AUD20 after sales. *woot* And this hoodie is reversible! which mean i can turn it inside out and wear it for different occasion. ^___^

Christmas Party 2008
Yeah. Holiday begins!!! woot!!!
Last friday was our last day at work for the year of 2008. As usual, I had to organize staff lunch for everyone, but it was all mental and hectic. It was so busy until we couldn't had a chance to play "secret santa" as planned, so we brought all the pressies along to our company christmas party which was held last Sunday! It was the craziest christmas party I've ever been to! Seriously, I had so much fun. People were so playful and funny and humorous. I laughed till my jaws dropped the whole night.
We began the party with barefoot bowlings, most of the Asians have never play this game before, including me myself. It's also called "lawn bowling" I think, like the one we always seen on TV, and we all thought it is only for eldery people, *hehehe* but it was pretty fun actually. :))

Approximately 40 people turned up that day, and it's a pity that not everyone from TPTC joined the party as some of them have left for holiday.

Hard work really does pay off.
Just when I thought yesterday was going to be end of the world. Okay, I am exaggerating here, of course. The whole emo thing only lasted for 5 minutes. And it was stupidly silly.
My life was then back to normal or even more perfect!
I love my life.

Honestly, nothing beats the great feelings of being appreciated, this means so much to me and to know that people are actually knowing, seeing, and recognizing my hard work and value is totally making me over the moon. I was thrilled and surprised and greatly honored when I was told that I am getting a pay rise! Woot! And bonuses! wow!
They must have loved me right as I've only started working 6 months ago. I must keep up the good work! Are you proud of me, papa mama?

It's all about baby Lucette.
At 11.11pm on 12/12 Lucette James made a grand entrance, says Robert James.
Speaking of good news, we received one, great one, yesterday from RJ. I jumped up right from my chair and ran to Danny to spread the news when we were in shopping mall having lunch. Oh my! I had been so nervous for Amanda when she was absent from work, I remember we ask the same question almost everyday when we see Robert at work, Boy or girl? How? Is she still pregnant?
Because the baby's 7 days overdue, so she had to stay in the hospital to make the process faster. I think this is what they call it, the induction of labour, when the baby is better off out of the mother than inside.
Anyway, she was given this prostaglandin gel (I looked up the Internet and found this term, but I am not sure if this is what she has been given) to make her labour much more natural when her cervix is still unfavourable.
So she started to feel the contractions, but the process has not been very smooth. After hours and hours of hard labour, she had to go for an operation to get the baby out.
Ouchhhhh. It hurts!
To cut a long story short, we are all very proud of Amanda, she's such a strong woman. And I am so excited and thrilled to meet baby Lucette. ^________________^
Baby, baby Lucette, you are certainly a big, long baby. She weights 3.9 kg and her body is longer than normal babies.
Here I am holding a baby who is not even one day old! She's too tiny and too gorgeous. When I showed this picture to ying, she was like, oh my god, you dare to carry that baby ah? followed by a lot of question marks. LOL
She's so cute. Super duper cute! And she's got blue eyes okay. But later, I was told that all babies are born with blue eyes, their eye colours change as they grow.
She looks like she's smiling in this picture. hehe so adorable.
awww...I am feeling clucky already. Look at her!
But Robert set a time frame for me that I can't have a baby in the next 3 years cos I have got works to do. Oh right! YES SIR!

It must be different cultures or what, in Australia, I've noticed a lot of mommas bring their babies out of the safety zone when they are only a few days old. Here, you could see new born babies everywhere, in shopping malls, restaurants, parks..Tiny, little new born babies are everywhere. Oh, that's pretty dangerous, isn't it?
But, still, I can't wait to play with baby Lucette during our upcoming christmas party this Sunday. :))

My mum is a genius too.
I have some most amazing photos that I wanna share with you guys. I seriously screamed in excitement when I saw these photos from mum's blog while on the phone with ying (She's back in bp! ) It's soooooOOooOOooooooooo amazingly beautifuuuuuuuuuuuulll!!
So in order to take good shots like this, mum had to go there everyday to check if the sky is painted with rainbow colours like below, but she told me that the sky is as beautiful like this for the past few days, but this moment won't last very long, probably only 10-20 minutes.
So just next day after ying and john back to bp, she brought them all here and took pictures for them!!!!!! OMG! so damn pretty right! And they are going to put this photo as one of their wedding photo slideshow. Awww.........how sweet.

Last night, I sang with my heart out while on the phone with both ying and mei. One picked up from upstair, one picked up from downstair, so 3 of us can talk together! Moment like this is the sweetest moment for me.

I am a genius.
I am typing slowly with bandage on my finger. I seriously hate paper cuts! 1,2,3,4...I think I had 7 paper cuts for the past few days. Damn. It cuts my skin and seriously very painful okay. So I am assigned to this big job which involves mailing out marketing materials to nearly 800 clients who are currently in our database. Which involves exporting important contact database in MYOB, categorizing clients into 6 different groups (landscaper, pool builder, tiler, tile shop, builder, pool shops) , mail merging in Microsoft Office Word, create and print label address, changing and checking trade price list, getting bosses to finalize price rise letter, christmas trading hours, recreate wholesale and retail price list when trade price list has been finalized, (a 24 pages price list)
Next is to have all the price lists, price rise letters, marketing literature forms, brochures, christmas trading hours printed out and have them packed into 800 envelopes, which each envelop has to have company stamp as well as postage paid stamp.
Printing is the slowest process for this job. To print one 24 pages price list requires approximately 1 minute, so to print 800 price list, I need 800 minutes which equals to 13.33 hrs. Officially, I can only started printing all the price list on Tuesday, because this was when the bosses finalized everything then pass it to me and I have 4 days to complete the job before deadline. (I actually set myself the goal of having this job done by Friday which is today)
However. the main problem was, the printer is not all mine. It is shared among the rest of the employees. It was a big challenge to have them all printed out and ready to be packed together with the rest of the marketing materials.
So you could see me running back and forth to the printer and back to my desk to do my other jobs.
Let's try something here, what about some calculations. I made the figure to be 800 for easier counting. It was actually 789 clients or something like that.
1. 36 pages Brochures - 800 copies (9 papers = 36 pages because this is how booklet printing works, to print front and back) 7200 papers
2. Marketing Literature Forms - 800 copies 800 papers
3. Price rise letter - 800 copies 800 papers
4. 24 pages Price List - 800 copies 4800 papers
5. Christmas trading hours - 800 papers
Equals to 14400 papers altogether!
Now I feel very very fortunate to have only 7 paper cuts from 14400 papers, that is 1,2,3,4,5 digits man!! Phew!
I think I am a genius.
Here you might think, why don't you print all the price list overnight and have them ready for you the next day? Yes I wanted to, but first night, we ran out of papers, second night, something happened to the drum cartridge of the printer, which left only last night to do all the printing. And that was why I wanted to stay back late to make sure everything can go out today. And it did! It all went out today!!!!!!!!!! I feel very proud okay!! ^_____________^

I worked until 9.30pm today. 12 hours 30 minutes excluding lunch hours.
I am now exhausted but I felt great actually. Will blog more about it later.
And maybe for about 10 minutes, I seriously thought of going back to the office after shower to check the printing machine to see if it's working well. =.=
