2 days 1 night in Lucky Valley, Pahang 22 Dec - 23Dec 2007
Lucky Valley offers you an extraordinary adventure. The retreat is nestled amongst fruits orchards, vegetable gardens. This place is found with its unusually strong energy which is good for health and healing.
From what I heard, this place is popular among groups for yoga, tai chi, qigong or some other spiritual activities. The "energy-enriching" retreat is its main attraction and suitable for any meditative group.
We were not very into neither the meditative nor spiritual activities, this time, we took it as a chance to relax and enjoy the nature. This place is the direct opposite of busy metropolitan cities.
Dad and mum even went for the jungle trekking which me and mei unwilling to join. Together with another 15+ people, it took them 2 hours to reach their destination. Along the journey, they saw elephant dung, boar footstep, some of them were even being attacked by leech! Yiaksss!! So disgusting!
I was truly amazed at the intelligence I discovered in dogs. There were 2 adult dogs which guided us along the way when we were there. They are so kind to walk us into the jungle and guide us back to our rooms. So amazing!
It was indeed a different experience for us. :)

New.Hair.Cut.
I finally went to get my hair trimmed. Nice? Actually there is barely any difference, the style is still the same, as I wanted to, I know I am such a boring person :P
my hair is now a lot more lighter and more layers. I like them when my hair is down. It doesn't look too thick anymore. :D

So we were in Kaohsiung and this is where Sachin stays. I was afraid we couldn't make it for a quick meet up but *yeah* she skipped her meeting for me. I was so happy to see her! ^^

Taiwan Trip [Day 3] 21.11.2007
Mum and dad share the same birth month. Dad is 3 years and 3 days older than mum. I knew we would spend the day during our trip to Taiwan this time, but due to the tight schedule (mainly consumed by travelling here and there) I was helpless when I couldn't even find a birthday card while walking around the streets in Taiwan with my sis. Thanks to Miss Teo who came to me and confirmed with me just one day before my dad's birthday, and told me she had asked the hotel's restaurant assistant to prepare birthday cake and we will celebrate the day with the rest of our tour members. ;)
So we had a small and surprise celebration for mum and dad.

Here we come! Spa! Hot spring! Hot Tub! Watever you call them. This is our first time enjoying and experiencing hot spring. I was really excited and looking forward to the natural hot spring getaway experience! From what I heard, Chipen (Zhiben) Taitung is very famous with its hot springs resort and spa. The hotel we were staying provides a public spa area for its hotel residents. While we were flipping through the brochures, we were interested by the special spa therapy which provides us all sort of different therapies and privacy as well. One private room consists of sauna, hot tubs, and steam room costs us NT900 one hour (which cost around RM90) So 3 of us including Miss Teo (Tour leader) shared one room and mum and dad took the other room besides us.
Woooo!! Really love the ambience and coziness of the spa room!

But I nearly 'cried' because of the SUPER HOT spring water! Oh dear! Look at the skin of my foot! Red! All red! I kept shouting and shouting and shouting the moment I touched the water! (mum and dad told me later when we met outside, they could hear us shouting too! haha) It took forever for us to adapt the temperature. Not fun at all!
I felt like I was boiling inside the tub and very fast enough, I started to dehydrate. That was when I found myself climbing out from the tub and drinking water eargerly.
We went into the sauna room and steamroom but we din't even stay there for more than one minute. I felt like the room was running out of fresh air and oxygen!
After adjusting the water temperature by adding in more and more cold water, I felt so much better and relaxed! hehe
In spite of the discomfort experience, I still love the ambient very very much. It was fun afterall! :D

Ying, this little boy is Sam's baby boy, Sam is the guy who helped us a lot for our house CCTV and computer, remember?
This boy is such a cutie! And very energetic! It was nearly midnight when I shoot the video. Oh boy, he really can sing with his high pitch voice some more!
By the way, do you think he looks alot like Jingyi? =D

Taiwan Trip [First Day] 19.11.2007
Taiwan isn't very far from Malaysia. After 4 hours plus we arrived safe and sound at Tao Yuan International Airport. After a short rest and dinner, we went to Xi Men Ding, Taipei City. This is the ultimate hangout place for teenagers. Elin, whose hometown is just situated in Taipei, came to meet and bring us around. Thankyou~
So we were just window shopping and enjoying the night view of the streets.
I would never ever try the 'smelly tofu' again, ever since I had the lesson years ago where I couldn't stand the smell and taste in my mouth after having them. Yiaks! Really disgusting!
However I suggested to try the famous duck tongue but mum din't really like it. hehe
p/s: I love the bubble tea! Especially the chewy tapioca pearls! So chewy and yummy! :D
