A bike ride to remember.

Brisbane bikeway

"..............The City Botanic Garden - 1.7km start anywhere in the garden and follow the pathway around the outer-perimeter that borders Alice and George Streets, QUT, the Rainforest walk at the Cafe and along the riverbank.

Story Bridge River Loop - 7km Do a circle of both banks of the river crossing both the Victoria and Goodwill bridges. Great facilities as you travel the Cliffs Boardwalk opposite the City into Kangaroo Point and the Riverside Centre in the City itself.

Brisbane has over 500km of recreational cycle pathways, many of these aroud the Brisbane River............"

Yes! we went for a bike ride on Saturday afternoon. *winks*

From Botanic Garden > Riverside City > New Farm Park > Story Bridge > Kangaroo Point > Southbank parkland > Goodwill Pedestrian Bridge > QUT > Botanic Garden .

It was a very fun ride!

I haven't ride bicycle for quite a long time, I was a bit worried at first, but it went pretty cool after all. The wind was blowing hard and it was amazingly shock!

I am very glad to see that Brisbane's bikeways are very clear and safe for us to use. No confusion. No misleading. No missing sign .

Brisbane City Council has more to offer, bikeways map can also be downloaded from the website. =D

my day. my mind. my thoughts.

Oh well. look at the time, it is 12.30 am past midnight, and I've just finished a whole big bowl of spicy korean noddle soup. I haven't been staying up this late, let alone eating supper at this time.

I craved for food. so much so much desire. In return, I was happily satisfied, contented plus pleased!

I wanted to be young, to be able to feel how I felt last time. Simple thing like eating instant noodle like what I did justnow made me so happy.

For your information, I am a spicy noodle freak, if it's not hot enough, I put extra pepper until the soup was heavily peppered and spiced. *hmmmm* I used to turned a noodle soup into a dry noodle just so I could have more spice in it. Crazy. Well, we both did, my sister and I.

please do not learn, it is super unhealthy!!!

I had doubts in my life. Wonder what I am doing here. I wish I could make a big move.

My tears soon welled up in my eyes.

The Legend.

Spent whole Sunday afternoon trying to finish this book. Lying, sitting, standing, you could see me in any position, with a book in my hand, even inside the toilet!

A very naively written novel, I would comment.

It makes me feel like I was back to my high school time.

Too sweet, too impossible, too imaginative, simply just too naive.

But it was without doubt, the most relaxing thing you could do during a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Bought this top last Friday. Wasn't intend to get anything. Was just walking around with Peilin, killing some time before going to Dwi's place for dinner.

It was a good bargain! Only 10 dollars! I din't even tried it on. I choose a xs size for myself, but it turn out to be pretty loose still *specially from my shoulder way down to chest area.

Oh well..

I haven't seen these two boys since I left Perth. They had grown so much and they really talk like Aussie. Amazing!

I used to see them 24/7. My life has became so much quiter without them. Seriously, they are super hyper energetic, absolutely hyper active!

I used to always awake by their loud and sharp screams in the morning, say about 7 in the morning. They seem to have infinite energy, which I as a grown up really couldn't keep up with them.

Talking and webcaming with them reminds me so much of the old days.

Loud, noisy, happening, exciting moments.

running here and there to catch them.

playing bubbles with them in the back yard.

bringing them to the park, to the playground.

fighting with them for crispy crunchy french fries.

babysitting them whenever their mummy is not available.

angrying with them when they mess up my room.

hugging and kissing goodnight when they are about to turn in.

heart melting when they said "I love you"

Rescue Team.

We went to Southbank on last Sunday. Wanted to find the big stone / plaque I've designed for sister city relationship for Brisbane and Kaosiung (Taiwan). I know it is somewhere inside the park of Southbank. But we din't find it in the end as we were running out of time by watching an interesting ducklings' adventure. (I will try to find it anyway, I wanna take a photo and keep it for my portfolio!! =D)

* Such a nice moment they were sharing inside the water.

* It was harder when they tried to get up from the water, as the stair was just too high for them to fly out. We were all standing around nervously to try to find a way to help the ducklings, but they were just too afraid to come near to us, so we couldn't even try to catch them by hand.

As more tourists approached, the ducklings became more and more panic. We could see they were really eager to get out from the water. Initially, mummy duck tried to carry them on her back when she made a move, but failed too.

Until Danny found and placed a skinny stick for the ducklings to act as a bridge.

Again . Failed .

Another kind father tried to get more thicker sticks, and place them side by side, to form a bigger and flatter platform for the ducklings.

One tried. failed.

Never gave up! They tried , tried and tried again!

Finally, 3 of them were out from the water successfully!!!

Everybody clapped cheerfully!!!!!!

What a release! =D

* I din't get to snap any of the photo when they tried to get out from the water. I was too nervous for them!!!

Next, we spotted an interesting exhibition held just on our way back to the car park. You may find the pictures below disgusting or irritating. Be aware! At least, I found it very gross when I was sorting out the photo!! *eeEEEEeee*

Yes. I did touch one of them!!!!!

*yiaks* Their skin were very oily-felt.

The end! It's already past my sleeping hour. Alright! One more day to go before weekend! Yeah!Goodnight everyone!

Kiki's here again.

Kom dropped his super adorable, always lovely kiki to my place again on Sunday afternoon. As usual, the boys went for their every-sunday afternoon soccer session, I din't follow them this time, so Kiki din't get to go either *poor kiki*

So, I've taken my lunch, washed my dishes, and poured myself a glass of lemon tea.

I looked at kiki and he looked back at me with his very innocent eyes, trying to convince me something.........*bring me out! take me out.....woof woof....*

I couldn't bear to see him looking at me so sad, wanting to go out so badly, so I put on my jogging shoes, turn on my iPod, wear my cap, and brought along his food too.

Here we were, walking down to the park *to meet the boys* from my apartment, it took us about 30 minutes to walk there.

Pretty, lovely sunday!

He barked happily!

I've been dreaming.every night. it makes me weak, makes me exhausted. Every morning, I woke up motionless in blurriness. I paused for a moment before I could get up and bring myself to the wash room.

I need a good sleep! indeed. I need a good rest. I missed the time I could just relax and relax, but times seem to be racing with me all the time since I've started working.

my heart smiled when I re-watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" last night.

It was so sweet and funny. I love it!

I can't wait for the weekend to arrive. Yeah! I am nearly there! After a whole week full of designing job, (business card, flyer, paper bag, corflute, letterhead, sign board, promotion flyer, etc etc) Phew! Everytime I almost heart attack when the final procedure come to my hand, because I have to make the file to be high resolution ready to print! And I could never wrong spell or miss place anything!

I love the warmth wrapped around me by the sunshine.
I love lazying around at the beach, simply wandering around.
I love closing my eyes, allowing my minds to be free from stress and troubles.
I love looking up at the clouds, and admire how beautiful they can be.

I love travelling in the car, daydreaming.
I love looking out to the window and singing out loud my favourite songs played in the car stereo.
I love taking photo along the road.
I love looking at people when stopped at the traffic light.

I love, simply love to be out and totally enjoy myself with someone I felt most comfortably with.

Until a brain tumour ruined Gerry's life. Not only his, it completed destroyed Holly's life as well.

Her life was saved when she received a birthday parcel from Gerry. He left her different messages for every month until December, each signed "PS I love you" *how sweet*

Obviously, he had became her guidance angel, to help to encourage, to motivate, to bring her out from her darkness of mood to allow her open her heart freely and accept the world without Gerry.

P.S. A truly touching story, my heart ached every moment I thought of the sweet lovely messages he has left for her.......

An intimate Date .

It was a moment when I fall in love with the sun shine, a moment we are out and enjoy the nature. So much. My spirit was so much inspired by the surroundings. For the very first time, we visited Brian's farm at the Beaudesert.

The weather was perfectly bright and clear! The air was incredibily fresh. I felt revived.

It was a one hour drive from Brisbane to the farm. His parents are one of the milk supplier for Paul's milk in Australia. It was very exciting to know we are going, as everyone get to milk the cow!!

For sure, I've seen cows in my real life. But, I've never get to study them in such a close distant ever. We were just face to face with them. And, they are just too cute! One thing I realised, they have had no expression at all. And simply, they look very dumb and silly.

We made silly actions to get attention from them, all they did was to just stare back at us, or stepped back if we move further closer to them.

Brian's mother even remember all their names. More than 100 cows! Can you imagine? They all look the same!!

Brian and Dwi were so kind to bring us around the farm. We - me, dwi, and peilin - sat at the back of the truck during our little trip. It was fun!

We went to check out small little calf. We played with them. They are too shy!

I was told to stick my finger out for the calf and they will eventually suck your finger as they thought there will be milk coming out for them. They will just keep sucking.

Hm. Their saliva is really sticky!

As told by Brian's brother - David - this particular calf was about 2 weeks old. He is big, isn't he.It was so much fun playing with them. But I have to say, they are really too shy for you to even get closer to them. Let alone touching them.

I am not saying you can't, because Jim just carried one of them up! He is crazy!

Milking time only started at 4pm in the afternoon. So, there were still plenty of time for us to spend around before we get to milk the cow. *hiakhiak*! And everyone was hungry since our not-so-early-breakfast.

so.

While the boys were playing pool inside the house, we - 3 chefs of the day - Dwi , Peilin , Lei - started to prepare and "barbecue" for lunch.

After a filling lunch *grrrrp* we started our journey again!

I looooooooooooooove it! So fun!

We were asked to wear old- unwanted cloth during milking session. They have professional milking machine, but before we suck the pipe for milking, we will have to check to make sure their milk is healty and not infection.

I felt so scared to touch their nipples. I was scared to press harder. After everyone finished checking every cow's . I still couldn't able to press any milk out of it. *shame*

But after 3 times of trying, finally. the milk did come out. *hHaha*

It was a lovely day! Absolutely an eye opening day for me!
